Like A Girl advocates for the educational, professional and personal development of girls from cradle to college. Equipping young ladies with the resources they need to speak their mind and embrace who they are.
HOW WE WORK
Like A Girl works off the principle of mentorship. We believe that no one knows a girl better than a girl and when women come together - there is no glass ceiling.
EDUCATIONAL:
Providing girls with public speaking workshops, classes from diversity and inclusion to women in history, and networking opportunities to receive and prepare for higher education.
PROFESSIONAL:
Each girl is given a mentor who has either graduated from the program or is a professional in an area of interest whether that be in the STEM field, fine arts, sports, etc.
PERSONAL:
Every person is born with a spark that is special to them. We believe in nurturing that spark and helping you embrace yourself and supporting others to do the same through reflection circles, retreats and team bonding.
